Touchless Screens for Military

In military environments, especially in extreme cold conditions with temperatures reaching minus degrees, traditional touchscreens pose significant challenges for soldiers who must wear gloves. Our touchless technology was developed to address these needs, allowing seamless, touchless interactions that work effectively in such harsh conditions.

My UX design approach incorporated advanced AI and sensor-based solutions, enabling users to interact with screens effortlessly without physical contact. Extensive testing was conducted with military personnel to gather real-world feedback, ensuring that interactions remained responsive and intuitive, even when users are wearing thick gloves in freezing temperatures.

By utilizing a user-centered design process, including low, mid, and high-fidelity prototyping, we refined the touchless interface to account for the specific needs of military personnel. From gesture recognition to real-time feedback mechanisms, the technology ensures that soldiers receive accurate and efficient responses in critical operational settings.

The result is a robust touchless solution tailored for extreme environments, empowering military personnel to operate effectively and safely, even under the most challenging weather conditions.
